ON-AIR SEGMENT: New York Assemblyman Robert Smullen is hopeful for expanded access to childcare

ALBANY, NY- With less than a month to go before New York's Fiscal Year 2026 Executive Budget is due, Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R) is hopeful to see continued expansions in child care, which is a critical need for several North Country families. 

 $1.8 billion in child care assistance has been included in the budget to continue the Governor’s $7 billion plan to expand access to child care.
