ON-AIR SEGMENT: Sheree Vora talks Lowville Lions Club Medical Equipment Loan Program

LOWVILLE-Lions Clubs International focuses on certain global causes, such as vision, diabetes and others, but the Lowville Lions Club has taken a step further to help address a need they believe has surfaced locally - and that is the need for loaned medical equipment.

"We are able to provide a walker to somebody that cannot go home until they have that equipment. We are able to provide crutches, we are able to provide a wheelchair, a hospital bed," Lowville Lions Club spokesperson Sheree Vora told us.

"As long as we have it in stock and there is no cost to the family. They have to come and pick it up. They need to make arrangements to pick it up."
