ON-AIR SEGMENT: Southern Lewis EMS Coalition gives their take on latest proposal to umbrella all county EMS into one unit

LEWIS COUNTY- On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, Ambulance Chief for Constableville Ambulance Inc. and spokesperson for Southern Lewis County EMS Coalition, Matthew Yelton, joined North Country News and discussed a different take for when it comes to the proposal that could ultimately join all county-wide EMS under the roof of Lewis County Search & Rescue.

Though the issue is very complex and Yelton has his concerns, however; he firmly agrees that something needs to be done to ease the volunteer crisis facing the world of emergency response.
