Vehicle larceny investigation in Lewis County results in felony charges against local resident, Troopers say

TURIN- A North Country area resident is faced with a pair of felony accusations in the wake of a vehicle larceny investigation this month in Lewis County.

On Tuesday morning, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged Zachary E. Lyndaker, 32, of Turin, NY with one felony count each of criminally possessing stolen property in the third-degree (values exceeding $3,000) and forgery in the second-degree (of a public record).

According to Troopers, these charges stem from a vehicle larceny complaint filed on June 2 in the town of Turin.

At press time, police said an investigation was still pending, while Lyndaker was released.

There were no further details provided.
