
LEWIS- An Oneida County resident is faced with a felony accusation stemming from a disturbance complaint last-week in Southern Lewis County, authorities say.
Joel M. Simmons, 41, of Camden, NY was arrested Monday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville). Simmons is formally charged with one felony count of criminal mischief in the third-degree (damage to another person’s property > $250).
According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an alleged disturbance, which was reported Thursday, September 26 in the town of Lewis.
At press time, police said that Simmons was issued with an appearance ticket.
There were no further details provided to report.
