
ROME- A local woman in Oneida County has been arrested and charged by authorities for alleged child exploitation.
Logan R. Kelley, 27, of Rome, NY was arrested on Tuesday on one felony count of promoting sexual performance by a child.
With the assistance from State Police Investigators, along with Rome City Police and Homeland Security Investigations, Troopers executed a search warrant at a residence in the city.
Officials said the warrant was the result of a cyber-tip submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The investigation determined that Kelley utilized the internet to view and distribute child sexual abuse material.
Kelley was arraigned in Oneida County Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) Court, where bail was set at $3,000 cash, $6,000 insurance bond, or $10,000 partially secured bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
