
BOONVILLE- A pellet stove fire was contained Wednesday morning in Northern Oneida County, emergency responders are reporting.
Alarms sounded around 8:30 a.m. for a structure fire at 2666 Millers Woods Road, Boonville, NY. Boonville Fire Department was the primary responder.
The caller told 9-1-1 dispatchers that their pellet stove sparked a fire and may have spread into the wall. Fortunately, firefighters were able to contain the flames.
No injuries or serious damage was reported.
According to Chief Dave Pritchard Jr., the pellet stove was removed from the home.
Crews cleared remaining smoke from the address before returning to service.
