Personal injury motor vehicle accident in Steuben results in various charges against Mohawk Valley resident

STEUBEN- A resident from the Mohawk Valley is faced with a trio of charges filed in the wake of a personal injury motor vehicle accident over the weekend in Oneida County.

Emergency responders were dispatched late Saturday night to the area near Starr Hill and Fuller Roads in the town of Steuben. Resulting from this accident investigation, State Police said there were two people injured, though specific details were not iterated for this initial report.

However, Troopers did announce the arrest of Chad W. Prosser, 48, of Utica, NY. Prosser was formally charged with one felony count of criminally possessing stolen property in the third-degree (property values exceeding $3,000), along with one additional count each of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree and displaying a forged certificate without inspection.

At press time, Prosser’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.
