BOONVILLE- Drivers who frequent through Boonville, NY are reminded that a new traffic light, which has been installed at the intersection with State Route 12 and Main Street, will go live starting Tuesday, June 10.
Traditionally, that stretch of road through town has been without any traffic signals until you get to Tops Plaza, but officials are stressing this because there may be an adjustment period for drivers who travel that corridor daily or weekly.
As reported, this traffic light will run with the standard three signals – proceed, caution and stop (green, yellow and red).
As a reminder, there are several other infrastructure projects underway and on the verge of commencing throughout the village.
We will follow up with any new traffic advisories as they are released.
