Petit larceny charge filed against Lewis County resident in town of Lowville

LOWVILLE- A Lewis County area resident is faced with a larceny related charge.

On Thursday evening, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged Rebecca L. Carpenter, 53, of Constableville, NY with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a larceny complaint filed Thursday evening in the town of Lowville.

At press time, police said that Carpenter was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
