Petit larceny charge filed against local resident in town of Lowville, Troopers say

LOWVILLE- A local resident in Lewis County is accused of petit larceny, authorities say.

Scott R. Ielfield, 66, of Lowville, NY was arrested Sunday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville). Ielfield is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the charge was issued in the town of Lowville. At press time, police said that Ielfield was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
