OHIO & NORWAY- A vehicle larceny case has resulted in a felony accusation filed against a teenage suspect in Herkimer County.

On Tuesday afternoon, the New York State Police arrested and charged a 14-year-old juvenile from Cold Brook, NY with one felony count of burglary in the second-degree.

Troopers say this arrest stems from a complaint filed in the town of Ohio on August 7.

In a separate case from the town of Norway, Troopers also charged a 14-year-old juvenile from Cold Brook, NY with a misdemeanor of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Based on initial reports from State Police, there is no official way to confirm if this was the same suspect or not, based on the fact that they cannot have their name released under these circumstances, due to their youthful offender status.

At press time, police said the teenage suspect was issued with a family court appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
