BOONVILLE- Police responded to a car v. motorcycle personal injury accident late Thursday afternoon near the midway entrance to the Boonville-Oneida County Fair.

Sheriff’s Office patrols assigned on fair duty received word of the accident and responded immediately.

Investigation revealed that Hunter Pisaneschi of Rome, NY was operating an automobile westbound on Schuyler Street when he came to a stop sign at the intersection of Summit Street.

Pisaneschi then proceeded through the intersection, but reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way to an oncoming motorcycle, ridden by Terry Pfendler of Boonville, NY, who was coming southbound.

There was a collision, which caused Pfendler to be ejected from the motorcycle.

Both drivers were treated and evaluated on-scene by members of Boonville Ambulance for non-life threatening injuries.

Pisaneshi was issued a universal traffic ticket, which is returnable to Boonville Town Court at a later date.

Boonville Fire Department and Eli’s Auto and Towing also assisted.
