Property damage accident in Ava results in DWI arrest for Boonville man, Troopers say

AVA- A local man is accused of intoxicated driving in the wake of a reported property damage accident early Friday in Northern Oneida County, authorities say.

Jeremiah W. Johnson, 29 of Boonville, NY was arrested and officially charged by the New York State Police (Lee) for DWI.

According to Troopers, these charges stem from reports of a property damage accident shortly after 2:00 a.m. in the town of Ava.

At press time, authorities said an investigation was pending. An arrest status for Johnson was not listed at press time.
