Local man charged with criminal trespass in Forestport, Troopers say

FORESTPORT- A local man is accused in a trespass case in Northern Oneida County, authorities say.

James E. Snook, 81, of Forestport, NY was arrested Thursday afternoon by the New York State Police (Remsen). He is officially charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal trespass in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from trespass complaints earlier that morning in the town of Forestport.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending. Snook was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details included from the State Police.
