Property damage accident in Boonville results in felony unlicensed operation charge against local resident: TROOPERS

BOONVILLE- A property damage accident early Tuesday morning in the village has resulted in a felony charge lodged against a local resident.

It was shortly before 6:30 a.m. when emergency responders were called out to reports of a property damage accident in the Tops Plaza area.

As a result of State Police investigation, Stacey L. Genovese, 36, of Boonville, NY was formally charged on one felony count of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first-degree (10 or more suspensions).

At press time, Troopers said that Genovese was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
