Property damage crash in Forestport results in charges filed against Livingston County resident

FORESTPORT- A resident from Livingston County is faced with charges following reports of a property damage accident early Monday in Northern Oneida County, authorities say.

Brandon R. Horrocks, 37, of Livonia, NY was arrested during the early hours Monday by the New York State Police (Remsen). Horrocks is formally charged with one count each of DWI (first offense) and criminal trespass in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges were filed in the wake of a reported property damage crash on State Route 28 in the town of Forestport.

It happened shortly before 2:00 a.m., investigators said. At press time, police said that an investigation was pending.

Meanwhile, Horrocks made an appearance for centralized arraignment and there were no further details provided.
