Property damage wreck in Greig results in DWI arrest

GREIG- A property damage wreck this week in Lewis County resulted in a DWI arrest.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene of a property damage wreck Wednesday evening on the Greig Road, town of Greig.

According to patrols, Scott M. Hardy, 49, of Greig, NY was arrested after reportedly failing field sobriety tests on-scene.

During processing at the Public Safety Building, police said that Hardy registered a .08% BAC.

Police issued Hardy with appearance tickets for DWI and other uniform traffic tickets.

Members from the New York State Police, 3-G Fire Department, Lewis County Search & Rescue and Unlimited Collision & Customs all assisted.
