Maple Weekend is on the horizon and local maple producers are encouraging folks to visit their nearest sugar shacks the weekends of March 16, 17 & March 23, 24.

Officials say it's an opportunity for the public to come to the farm to learn about New York’s maple sugar making processes and traditions and to provide a chance to taste pure maple syrup in its many forms, directly from the source.

This event is organized and sponsored by the New York State Maple Producers’ Association.
