
ONEIDA COUNTY- A complaint of suspicious activity over the weekend resulted in the arrest of a local resident in the town of Remsen.
Sheriff’s Deputies looked into a call last Friday, where the victim told authorities that a neighbor had apparently smashed his truck window and was spotted on his property.
The victim was able to provide a statement of the damages, which exceeded $250.00.
As a result of the investigation, Trevor Burns, 24, of Remsen, NY was arrested on scene and charged with felony criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, along with trespass violation.
Burns was taken in for booking; was taken to CAP court and was arraigned that night.
At press time Monday, police said that Burns is being held and will be appearing in the Town of Remsen Court on a later date.
