Credibility concerns have surfaced regarding the dumping allegations Republican Congressional Candidate for New York-21 Anthony Constantino has been pushing on his Democratic opponent Blake Gendebien after reports came out that Constantino’s campaign appears to have paid $28,000 to a woman, whose partner used to work on Gendebien’s farm.

These developments have blossomed from City & State New York.

Constantino has been sounding the alarm for weeks after achieving drone footage of what appears to be a dump site on Gendebien’s land.

To clarify, the DEC did receive and investigate a formal complaint back in September, but did not find any violations or wrong doings against Gendebien.

The agency and the New York State Police both have emphasized there is no ongoing investigation, but Constantino continues to claim that the investigation has been re-opened.

According to City & State New York’s publication, Federal Election Commission records show how the Constantino campaign team paid a person named Lisa Fogarty $28,000 on September 21.

The payment was reportedly labeled as “GOTV” strategy consulting.

It turns out that Fogarty is the romantic partner of Scott Hooper, who reportedly worked for nearly two-years on Gendebien’s farm. Fogarty reportedly has alleged that Gendebien had dumped numerous animal carcasses and other debris in the creek that is on his farmland.

Meanwhile, Gendebien reportedly claims that Hooper was fired and referred to him as a “disgruntled former employee.”

In a separate publication from the Watertown Daily Times, Gendebien has now filed a report with the New York State Police – claiming Constantino’s campaign team has been harassing and intimidating him, including drones that fly over his property and having party allies circle his property in vehicles.

It is reported that Constantino is fully rejecting those claims.

In a statement to reporters, Gendebien said the $28,000 payment to Fogarty was for a disgruntled neighbor to “file an affidavit that proved unfounded.”

The mid-term and general election is Tuesday, November 3, while early voting continues this week.
