With 9,500-square-feet to work with, the property will serve as the future site for the fitness, teen and senior center, along with two large classroom spaces and three new outdoor recreational areas – including sand volleyball courts, a youth baseball field and another multi-purpose field.
“With the acquisition of this new site, the fitness center, teen center and senior center will come together in one easily accessible, central location able to serve a larger number of Lewis County residents,” Double Play said in a released statement.
“The new site will allow enrichment programs to grow to include cooking and nutrition classes, with expanded programs in wellness, music and the arts as well.”
