LOWVILLE- Numerous emergency agencies were on the scene of a propane leak late Wednesday at Lewis County General Hospital.
Initial calls to 9-1-1 dispatchers came in right around 10:30 p.m. regarding a possible gas leak on the property. Lowville Fire Department was the primary responder.
Officials say Beaver Falls, Castorland, Croghan, Glenfield and Martinsburg Fire Departments all responded for assistance, including the use of gas meters.
When all was said and done, emergency officials said they found a propane tank that was leaking. It’s reported the leak was stopped and a technician was requested for assistance.
No injuries or any other details were available.
The scene was cleared before 1:00 a.m.
