REPORT: Lewis County man appears in Federal Court and pleads guilty to sexually exploiting children

LOWVILLE- A local man is facing up to 30-years behind bars for sexually exploiting children.

Nathan Hotchkiss, 35, of Lewis County, NY appeared in federal court Tuesday in Syracuse, NY, pleading guilty to a pair of counts for sexually exploiting children.

With sentencing aimed for this coming January, authorities say Hotchkiss faces up to 30-years in prison.

The prosecution says he admitted to sexually exploiting two children from at-least October, 2021 through August, 2022. Investigators said both children were under the age of 5.

It's reported that Hotchkiss live-streamed or distributed depictions of the sexual abuse online for cash.

Authorities discovered a stash of child pornography when they arrested Hotchkiss last-year.
