Local man accused of possessing glassine envelopes and fentanyl, police say

LOWVILLE- A local man is accused of criminally possessing a controlled substance, authorities are reporting.

Kyle P. Roberts, 22, of Lowville, NY was arrested Tuesday by the Village Police Department for one count of criminally possessing a controlled substance.

Police say the arrest occured while investigators were speaking with Roberts regarding a separate matter, where they allegedly found six glassine envelopes on his possession.

A test revealed that Roberts was in possession of fentanyl. Roberts was released.

Members from the county's Drug Task Force and Sheriff's Office assisted.
