LOWVILLE- A Lewis County woman confessed on Tuesday to raping a teenage victim numerous times.

Appearing in Lewis County Court, Nicole Lyndaker, 44, reportedly pled guilty to a single count of third-degree rape and first-degree criminal contempt, according to the latest updates from WWNY-TV.

Reports suggest that the victim was consulted before the plea bargain. In 2024, a grand jury indicted Lyndaker on 18-counts of rape in the third-degree.

During her appearance on Tuesday, she admitted to having sex with a boy she had known for several years in her Castorland, NY area home.

The acts occurred between 2020 and 2022. She was 39 and the boy was 15 when the sexual contact began, reports suggest.

For the time being, authorities say that Lyndaker is being held at the county jail, without bail.

Sentencing has been scheduled for late November. It is reported that the maximum sentence for a third-degree rape conviction is four-years.

Upon release, Lyndaker will have to register as a sex offender.
