
LEWIS COUNTY- One person was flown to a Syracuse hospital in the wake of a UTV roll-over accident over the weekend, authorities say.
It happened Saturday afternoon on North Road, near Constableville, NY. C-ville Fire Chief Ortlieb says one subject was taken from the scene by a third-party to Highmarket Inn.
From there, the person was rushed by Constableville Ambulance to an awaiting medical helicopter at Adirondack High School. Officials said the victim suffered from chest and head injuries.
They were flown to SUNY Upstate Medical Center. Members from Lewis County Search & Rescue assisted by providing advanced life support.
The New York State Police is handling the investigation. Boonville Fire Department assisted with setting up the landing zone.
