LOWVILLE- Timothy Hunt has officially been appointed to take over as Lewis County Manager.
The Board of Legislators officially appointed Hunt, who currently heads the County Highway Department, during their Tuesday session.
This development is according to the latest from WWNY-TV.
As previously reported, Ryan Piche, current County Manager, is aimed to depart this fall and take on the job for being Jefferson County Administrator.
There were five candidates interviewed and considered for the position.
Hunt was approved unanimously, reports suggest.
