
MONTAGUE- A local resident is accused of DWI in Lewis County.
On Sunday, the Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of an unconscious driver in the town of Montague. Upon further investigation, Lucas J. Goutermout, 26, of Copenhagen, NY appeared to be intoxicated, Deputies said.
Goutermout subsequently failed field sobriety tests before being transferred to the Public Safety Building.
During processing, it is reported that Goutermout registered a .15% BAC.
Goutermout was formally charged with DWI and was issued with an appearance ticket, returnable to Montague Town Court at a later date.
