FORESTPORT- A one car roll-over crash that occurred over the weekend in Northern Oneida County resulted in non-life threatening injuries, authorities say.

It happened Saturday morning shortly before 9:00 a.m. on the Moose River Road, town of Forestport.

According to investigators from the New York State Police (Remsen), Melody C. Stanford, 59, of Port Leyden, NY was driving a 2012 Mazda 5 in a westerly direction.

Police say Stanford somehow left her lane of travel, drove off the southern shoulder and struck a tree. The vehicle subsequently spun around, rolled-over and came to rest in the roadway.

Stanford was taken to Wynn Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At press time, State Police said that Stanford was issued with a traffic ticket for unsafe speed.

There were no further details available.
