
ROME- The city police department is investigating a robbery that occurred during the early hours on Tuesday.
It was shortly after 1:30 a.m. when officers responded to the 1100 block of Floyd Avenue for a reported robbery.
A female victim told police officers that she was riding her bike when a silver colored vehicle approached. A male driver exited the vehicle, pushed the woman off from her bike and proceeded to flee the scene with it, Rome Police said.
The woman was not injured and the investigation remains ongoing.
