ROME POLICE: Deceased male body found behind gas station

ROME- Authorities say a deceased male body was found behind a gas station Wednesday morning and the Rome City Police Department is investigating.

Police officials had shut down a portion of Railroad Street. As of this report, police on scene said the body was discovered in the area of Mirabito Gas Station.

Details remain sparse, as investigators have yet to publically release any further details.
