ONEIDA COUNTY- The Sheriff’s Office says a local resident is facing a pair of felony charges for allegedly assaulting someone with a razor blade.
Last Thursday, Deputies were called to a reported domestic incident in the village of Sylvan Beach, NY.
While investigating the matter, police learned that the victim had suffered minor injuries from being cut with a razor blade.
At that time, the suspect was not on scene, however; patrols managed to locate Joseph A. Walker, 45, of Rome, NY this past Tuesday.
Walker was formally charged with one felony count each of assault in the second-degree and criminally possessing a weapon in the third-degree.
At press time Wednesday afternoon, authorities said that Walker was held following an appearance in CAP court and is due to appear back in Sylvan Beach Court at another time.
