LOWVILLE- A portion of State Route 12 in Southern Lewis County has been re-opened in the wake of a tractor trailer that jack-knifed Tuesday afternoon.
It happened sometime around 2:40 p.m. in the town of Leyden, according to 9-1-1 dispatchers. From the reports we have gathered, there were no injuries that stemmed from this accident.
With that said, a portion of Route 12 (south) was temporarily closed down between Lyons Falls and Boonville, emergency officials said.
The roadway was completely re-opened to traffic later on at 5:30 p.m., though based on speaking with dispatchers, it appears that traffic was able to navigate around the scene of the accident before the scene was completely cleared.
