SHERIFF’S INVESTIGATORS: Lewis County resident charged with felony possessing and promoting sexual performance by a child

LYONSDALE- A Lewis County resident is accused of both promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

On Wednesday, Sheriff’s Investigators announced the arrest of David L. Weaver, 30, of Lyonsdale, NY for one felony count each of promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

Details were not elaborated in police reports, but officials did say these charges stem from an incident that was reported last July in the town of Lyonsdale.

At press time, police said that Weaver was arraigned and jailed on $10,000 cash bail.

There were no further details provided.
