WEST TURIN- A snowmobile crash in West Turin Sunday evening resulted in injuries, authorities say.
It happened shortly after 6:00 p.m. on North Road (Trail C4F), according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigation has determined Richard R. Galbreth, 35, (no hometown address provided) reportedly drove his sled over a snow embankment, causing his head to slam into the steering column.
Members from Constableville Ambulance provided treatment on-scene before taking Galbreth to a Utica, NY hospital for additional evaluation.
Constableville Rescue Sled, New York State Police and Turin Ridge Riders all provided assistance on-scene.
