BOONVILLE- A local resident from the Southern Lewis County area is accused of committing the same offense twice within two weeks.

On December 15, the Village Police Department stopped a vehicle along State Route 12 that reportedly had dark tinted windows, along with a dark tinted windshield.

As a result of the traffic stop, police charged Courtney M. Sanborn, 30, of Port Leyden, NY with a misdemeanor of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree.

During the traffic stop, officers said they discovered how her license is currently suspended. At the same time, it is reported that Sanborn has 15 different suspensions against her license.

She was also charged with various other unspecified traffic violations.

According to the Village Police Department, Sanborn was busted for the same exact thing earlier this month.

She was issued with citations, which are all returnable to Boonville Town Court at a later date.

Similar to her first encounter with Boonville Police, Sanborn was not allowed to drive from the scene.
