Southern Lewis County resident charged for alleged unlicensed operation in Utica

UTICA- A local resident from Southern Lewis County is accused of unlicensed operation in the Mohawk Valley.

During the late afternoon hours on Thursday, the New York State Police (Remsen) announced the arrest of Courtney M. Sanborn, 30, of Port Leyden, NY for one count of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree (three or more open suspensions on three or more separate dates).

According to Troopers, this charge was filed in the city of Utica, NY.

At press time, authorities said that Sanborn was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
