State Police arrest North Country resident for alleged DWI in Theresa

THERESA- A North Country area resident is accused of intoxicated driving in Jefferson County.

Nelson Emile LaBarge, 46, of Hammond, NY was arrested late Thursday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville) for one count each of DWI (first offense), operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater) and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third-degree.

Troopers said these charges were all filed late Thursday afternoon in the town of Theresa.

At press time, police said that LaBarge was issued with an appearance ticket.
