State Police charge Lyons Falls resident for criminal mischief

LYONS FALLS- A local resident from Southern Lewis County is faced with a charge filed in the wake of a vandalism complaint last Sunday, authorities say.

Emily Marie Hulbert, 36, of Lyons Falls, NY was arrested on Thursday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville). Hulbert is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an alleged vandalism incident, which was reported on the afternoon of January 5. 

At press time, Police said that Hulbert was issued with an appearance ticket. 

There were no further details provided.
