State Police investigating robbery at Turin Road Mart in Rome

ONEIDA COUNTY- Authorities are on the hunt for the person responsible in a Tuesday evening robbery in Rome, NY.

9-1-1 was alerted at around 6:00 p.m. that a suspect, who was wearing a red and white colored motorcycle helmet, entered the Turin Road Mart and demanded money.

This was going on while the suspect also made a gun gesture by dipping his hand into his pocket, although police confirmed no actual firearm was displayed.

Witnesses described the suspect as being 5 to 6-feet tall and was wearing a black rain jacket. The suspect was seen fleeing in a black colored Ram truck, with no license plates.
