STATE POLICE: No injuries in wake of single vehicle roll-over in town of Webb

HERKIMER COUNTY- No injuries have been reported in the wake of a single vehicle rollover accident over the weekend in the Western Adirondacks.

On May 18, 2025, at approximately 9:11 a.m., State Police responded to State Route 28 in the town of Webb, Herkimer County, for a single vehicle rollover collision.

Investigation determined that Danny Frieden, age 54, of Rome, NY, was operating a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek southbound on State Route 28, when he hydroplaned on the wet roadway and lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle then struck an earth embankment and flipped over onto its roof.

Frieden was not injured in the crash and no tickets have been issued at this time.
