State Police: North Country resident faced with felony charge on arrest warrant

PINCKNEY- A North Country resident is faced with a felony after being arrested on a warrant this week, authorities say.

Kerry L. Cooke, 36, of Evans Mills, NY was arrested on a warrant Tuesday morning, according to the New York State Police (Lowville). Cooke is officially charged with one felony count of bail jumping in the second-degree.

Trooper say the case initially opened on March 3 after receiving complaints in the town of Pinckney. At press time, Cooke’s arrest status was listed as bail/bond ($5,000).

There were no further details provided from the State Police.
