STATE POLICE: Personal injury wreck late Thursday night near Boonville results in felony charge against Southern Lewis County resident

BOONVILLE- A personal injury wreck late Thursday night near Boonville, NY has resulted in a felony intoxicated driving charge filed against a local resident from Southern Lewis County.

Sometime just before 11:00 p.m. Thursday, the New York State Police arrested and charged Rhonda A. Baslow, 64, of Port Leyden, NY with one felony count of operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater – w/a previous conviction within ten-years).

Troopers said this arrest stems from a personal injury wreck on State Route 294 in the town of Boonville at 10:00 p.m. Thursday.

Specifically, authorities said one person was injured, but specifics were not mentioned in the initial reports.

At press time, police said that Baslow was issued with an appearance ticket.
