State Police release update regarding local woman accused of issuing bad checks throughout the North Country

JEFFERSON & OSWEGO COUNTIES- State Police Investigators have released an update regarding the arrest of a North Country resident, who is accused of larceny charges from alleged bad checks that were issued across three separate districts.

As recently reported, authorities formally charged Brittany A. Standridge, 30, of Carthage, NY for one count of Grand Larceny 4th degree, two counts of Petit Larceny and four counts of Issuing Bad Checks.

Standridge is charged with issuing four bad checks on four different occasions that were returned for insufficient funds for over $2,900.00 in tools at various White’s Lumber and Building Supplies Stores in Jefferson and Oswego Counties.

She issued a check at the Clayton and Pulaski stores, and two checks on two different dates at the Watertown Store, State Police allege.

She was issued with appearance tickets, which are all returnable to their respective courts at a later date.
