TRENTON- A resident from the Mohawk Valley is faced with several charges in Oneida County, including fleeing from a police officer.

On Wednesday afternoon, the New York State Police (Remsen) arrested and charged Chad D. Rappleyea, 51, of Utica, NY with various misdemeanor counts of reckless driving, unlawfully fleeing from a police officer in the third-degree and using a borrowed vehicle not equipped with an interlock device.

Troopers say these charges stem from vehicle complaints that were received on August 30 in the town of Trenton.

At press time, police said that an investigation was pending, while Rappleyea was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
