State Troopers charge local resident with criminally possessing a controlled substance in town of Lee

LEE- A local resident from the North Country is accused of criminally possessing a controlled substance in Oneida County, authorities are reporting.

Brandy M. Andrews, 45, of Lyons Falls, NY was arrested early Tuesday by the New York State Police (Lee). Andrews is formally charged with three separate misdemeanor counts of criminally possessing a controlled substance in the seventh-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest was made at around 2:30 a.m. in the town of Lee. At press time, police said that Andrews was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details released.
