State Troopers investigating apparent shots fired incident at Oneida County area gas station

ONEIDA COUNTY- An incident is under investigation where shots were apparently fired at an area gas station.

Details are still thin as of this publication, but officials from the New York State Police confirm they have apprehended a suspect.

The incident occurred sometime around 7:00 p.m. Monday night at the Circle K Convenience Store in Verona, NY.

Investigators say the suspect managed to flee from the scene before being apprehended miles away in the city of Rome, NY.

Other than the fact that there were no injuries, further details have yet to surface from State Police.
