STATEMENT: Trump indictment is ‘shameful,’ says North Country Congresswoman Stefanik

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Former U.S. President Donald Trump is faced with over 30-felony counts from his indictment this week and North Country Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21) calls it “shameful.”

Stefanik, a long-time Trump supporter who still refers to him as the President, declared in her latest statement that Trump’s indictment is just another “witch-hunt” to stop him from becoming re-elected.

“This dangerous and illegal overreach by a radical DA has completely backfired for the corrupt Far Left Democrats who would rather desperately tear apart the fabric of our country than face President Trump at the ballot box,” she said.

Appearing in a Manhattan Court this week, Trump’s indictment stems from an alleged hush money scheme – involving an adult film star actress.

He has pleaded not guilty to all counts, including felonies, such as falsifying business records.
