Stefanik calls FBI raid on Trump Mar-a-Lago resort a “dark day in American history”

WAHSINGTON, D.C.- The FBI has raided former U.S. President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Largo resort and our North Country Congresswoman – Elise Stefanik – is reacting in disgust.

“This is the same agency that protected Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and continues to lie to protect Hunter Biden. This is the same agency that refuses to provide accountability and transparency into the deadly limo crash in Schoharie County in my district,” Stefanik accused in a rant released via her office Monday.

“The FBI's raid on President Trump's Florida home is a dark day in American history,” Stefanik added.

“There must be an immediate investigation and accountability into Joe Biden and his Administration’s weaponizing this department against their political opponents – the likely 2024 Republican candidate for President of the United States,” she finished.

According to the Associated Press, the search of Trump’s estate stems on a mystery authorities are attempting to crack, which revolves around a question on if the former President took classified records from the White House to his resort.
